Our deep appreciation for opportunity within every community stems from our founder’s experience at a very early age. “I can remember sitting in the grass at the corner of my grandparents’ lawn, waiting eagerly for my grandfather to return from work. I’m sure it was only a few minutes, but it felt like an eternity. I would then see him walking up the sidewalk, a tin lunch pail in hand, smiling ear-to-ear. Walking to and from work was typical for many men in our little steel town, now known as the rust belt. Blue-collar, family-sustaining jobs existed right at the edge of town and many small towns in the Midwest flourished. Families were built, along with industry. While the products and processes have evolved, there is no reason this can’t be the case again. The talent is here. The desire is here. We just have to reinvent ourselves and bring the resources here.” – Janet Earle
